MyRoutes is an application that lets you save your favorite places, routes, and trips, and share them with friends.

To save a place, you must be physically present there.

PRIVACY

The application stores “Route” and “Place” details.  

“Route” information includes:

•   Free-form description you specify for the route

“Place” information includes:

•   Location details, such as the latitude and longitude of your GPS coordinates

•   Free-form notes and details you specify for the place

•   Type of the place

LOCATION DATA

The application uses your location data to provide features like:

•   Displaying and storing the location of places


•   Showing your location on a map


•   Calculating distances using map services

Your privacy is important to us. The data is stored locally on your device. We do not store your content on our systems.

For some features (e.g., showing locations on maps, distance calculations), your location data is shared with third-party services (e.g., map service providers) that are owned and managed by external providers. These providers may process or store data outside of your country. By using these features, you consent to the transfer and processing.

DELETION OF DATA

If you want the data to be deleted, please uninstall the application from your device.

PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT YOU SHARE WITH OTHERS

You may choose to manually share your content (routes and places) with friends or others using third-party applications or tools, such as email or messaging apps.

When you share content through these third-party services, the security of the data and transmission depends on the protocols and measures of the service you use. It is your responsibility to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place and your data is protected. We are not responsible for any privacy or security issues (e.g., data disclosure, unauthorized access) that may arise from such sharing.

Similarly, if you copy or store data in other applications on your device (e.g., notes etc…), it is your responsibility to ensure proper security measures are in place and the data is protected.

Please be aware that third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for any privacy issues or data security problems that may arise from sharing content through these services.

Please note that any content you share with others may also be shared by them with additional parties. We are not responsible for any privacy or security issues (e.g., data disclosure, unauthorized third-party access) that may arise from such sharing.

We strongly advise you not to enter any confidential or sensitive information (e.g., passwords, financial or health data, credit card details, ID numbers, or other Personal Information) into any free-form text fields within the app.

DATA IMPORT FROM THIRD PARTIES

We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data you receive and import from others or third parties into the application. We are not liable for any consequences, including but not limited to errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the imported data. By using imported data, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure its accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

We provide no warranty and accept no responsibility or liability for the accuracy or the completeness of the data contained in the application.

Under no circumstances we will be held responsible or liable for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities of any kind (including, but not limited to, any direct or indirect damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information) resulting directly or indirectly from your use of or inability to use the application, or from your reliance on the data on the application.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The application is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the application and delete it from your device immediately.

If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child under the age of 18 is using the application, please ensure that it is deleted from their device immediately.

NO WARRANTY

We aim to provide a high-quality and satisfactory application. However, we do not guarantee that the application will operate without interruptions or errors.

You acknowledge and agree that you assume full responsibility for using and relying on the application. Your use of the application is at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws while using the application.

You are solely responsible for any content you share and the consequences of sharing it.

When you share content, you must make sure it is lawful. For example, you may not share content that:

•   is unlawful

•   is harassing, offensive, threatening or vulgar

•   poses a risk to a person's safety, security or health

We provide this service "AS IS" without any warranty of any kind. While we aim to maintain accurate and current data, we receive this data from various sources, which are outside our control. Therefore, we could not warrant the data provided are correct, complete, accurate and up-to-date. As the data may not be complete and may contain erroneous data, it should not be used as a primary mean to navigation.

You agree to conduct your own due diligence to assess the accuracy, reliability, and quality of the content provided by the application. Please note that the data (latitude, longitude, directions, and distances) may not always be accurate, so use the application at your own risk.

By using the application, you accept these terms and use the application at your own risk.
